False alarm! i think Avast finds some Signature from itself in the Swapfile. The thing is normaly Avast should not be able to scan the Swapfile at all, if Windows is running. Or do you use a Bootmanager to load different operating systems on one Pc?

Yeah....I run WinXP....but also still have WinME on the pc. but dont use it.
So I dont have to worry about the virus alert for voices-1500 ?

No, if you want you can delete the swap file. If windowsME needs it again it will create a new one.

The content of the swap file is not reused after restart (of the corresponding OS) - so if it's the only "infected" file found, you don't have to worry.
