That's pretty strange. Do you have disabled option "Scan whole files" in Avast Settings, tab "On-Demand Scans"? The file that is displayed is a last file, for which the scan has been completed, not the currently scanned file (for the technical limitations we have). I would expect that there has been scanned some huge file. Could you please try to scan separately the file you expect to be the problematic one and check its size?
