xpcom event receiver

today when i tried to turn off my computer, a messege popped up and says:
xpcom: event receiver not responding.
couldnt turn pc off until ending the program, anybody has ideas what this is?

Have you tried a google search for 'xpcom: event receiver' without the quotes, I did, it returns many hits it may give a better understanding of the problem

Have you clicked on the google search results link I gave you?
You will need to do some research based on the search results to get an understanding of xpcom: event receiver' and try and identify the cause. I personally don't know, I haven't ever come across it before.
