It is (MyPCBackup.com) -- C:\Program Files\MyPC Backup\MyPC Backup.exe and is bundled as C ware with new computers.  If you do not use/need this it can be uninstalled

Still sluggish but that could be due to me running malwarebytes and then avast in the background.

Make a habit of cleaning the temporary files prior to closing the computer down

Avast reports loads of password protected files - all flash player and trusteer.

Those are standard and are of no import

That MyPCBackup thing still pops up even though I removed it via add/remove.

I'm running CCleaner now so hopefully the system will return to normal.

MBAM might pick it up. Avast! by default has PUP turned off. Turning it on should help

Best to follow essexboy's instructions to rid yourself of this pest.  OTL log will do the trick, as essexboy will be able to select only the specific entries that need to be removed and no other. 

Once the new OTL log is posted, essexboy will be notified (again).  Really no standard removal tool available for your issue here, you need a customised cleaning routine and one created specifically for you and your machine.  essexboy will do exactly that for you.
