viruses everywhere
« on: April 29, 2005, 09:11:22 PM »
Hello all i'm having problems with my girlfriends computer. It seems to have contracted a couple of viruses, specifically the trojan-gen, trojano-1175, trojano1218. I did some work with the computer by disabling system restore and updating my spyware and virus protection and then rebooted in safe mode. After this i ran Avast, CWshredder, spy-bot, about:blaster, among others. None have seemed to work, and i still get the annoying about:blank when i start up Internet Explorer and Avast jams me up with virus alerts. Also, i have a hijack file if anyone needs it. thanks.

Which is your operational system?
Can you run a boot time scanning?
