Device encryption and AMS features
« on: August 28, 2013, 11:48:02 PM »
I seem to have read two different responses in the forum to the issue of whether using device encryption -- in this case with the Sprint variety of the Galaxy Note 2 (rooted) -- is a viable option with AMS. So I decided to ask the question outright here.

Are there issues with enabling device encryption and using AMS, such as some of the password protection features of AMS? It seems that encrypting an external SD card poses no problems.

True enough, this being the third time only because I read about the issue and saw what I perceived to be conflicting answers, as you should have seen!

So their is no definitive answer that you are aware of for now. So best to error on the side of caution in this case.

If there ever is a definitive answer, please post it here or refer to it here. In the meantime I will also keep my eyes "peeled" for such an answer.

Thank you very much.
