There is another programme that may do that (I have been playing with it) The free version will only allow the recovery of 1Gb
http://7datarecovery.com/

You will need to recover the documents and settings folder to the desktop
Then copy that folder to C:\username
Widows will ask if you wish to merge, select OK

There are another 2 tools that may do that (freeware): Recuva http://filehippo.com/download_recuva/ and Disk Drill http://www.cleverfiles.com/recover-deleted-files.html
