Avast / Critical Updates........

 ???  Just received a Pop Up Notice from Avast telling me of Critical Updates needed to my Computer..One of them being updates to Google Chrome..???...Came back ( X error )...Any idea what it could be and How to Correct this...??   Thanks :-\

Go in the menu on the top right and about Google chrome.

This should start an update.

hi NorPlan,

Assuming you've got some version of avast! 8.0 running on your system (you didn't say) then that would be the "Software Updater" feature notifying you of the out-of-date programs.

To get there:  Open the avast! gui (main program window)>Security tab>Software Updater.  Follow instructions on how to update these programs from there.
