what has happened to the site blocker in the latest avast free version

i have just upgraded to latest avast free 9.0.2006.144 the front ends had a makeover,but its missing the site blocker in tools .so do i need to revert to an older version to get this back,a i used this to block annoying ads plus popups..please help any advice would be much appreciated..it was on the previous version before i upgraded???

The AdBlocker has been dropped in V9.

Adblock Plus or Adblock would work fine for both Chrome and Firefox. The Avast adblock was based on Adblock (plus) IIRC.

Thanks Asyn.Alikhan..i have heard of adblocker,and will try now it on chrome as avasts blocker was based on this program..Asyn by check your "SIG" do you mean the link on your post reply..sorry i am not very very technically minded with regards to PC lingo..thank you VM! to you both for your help too!! Just Seen abrumptem's post for adblocker links plus thank you for posting these it saves me trying to locate this program
