Avast safezone not working

Since updating to latest Avast IS 2014.9.0.2008 safe zone does'nt work.
When i try to get on my bank log on page it just hangs and then shows this alert,
"The following pages have become unresponsive you can wait for them to become
responsive or kill them"
I have tried to get on the log on page with Firefox and theres no problem.

Working again now,but appears to be quite glitchy.
