sysupd32.exe
« on: June 03, 2005, 09:00:51 AM »
Does anyone know about this process in Windows XP ?
It is located in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\sysupd32.exe"

When I unblock this process in firewall it sends about 500 Kb of data and then connection is terminated...

Both MS Antispyware and Spybot - Search & Destroydid not report any problem...

I recommend that you send the file to Alwil to virus[at]avast.com (replace [at] with @,just an antispam protection).
But make sure you first compress it with ZIP/RAR ir 7zip and lock it with password (usually "virus"). Don't forget to meantion password in email. This is just a procedure to prevent mail servers from blocking attachement.
