Here we go again!!! Firefox

Ok I give in!!! Firefox does not like me....... only put it back on last night and have tried numerous times to update, the message I keep getting is:

Error
Firefox could not check for updates to the following components (either the update server(s) did not respond or the update service(s) were not found??????

anyone any idea what this means?..... ::)

after this experience I'm seriously thinking to kick out Firefox and go to Opera: is an excellent browser and is very easy to kill the advertise window in the high sideof the bar.

Just want one that is safe, easy to use and is not going to give me any headaches trying to work it out.... :)
