A new Kelvir-AC that Avast doesnt find
« on: June 07, 2005, 07:52:23 PM »
I have got a Kelvir-AC look alike but avast does not find it.

I can open Avast, but more or less all other antivirus sites are "not found" on the affected computer.

Regedit are closed after approx 10 secs.

Any suggestions?

Send the file to virus@avast.com
Make sure you compress it with ZIP and lock it with password. Also mention the pasword in mail.

The symantec link doesnt find anything, thats why I called it a look alike. It acts 100% like the Kelvir, but Avast cant find it.

Hence that, I cannot send the file to avast

Any other suggestions?

Check the file here:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

If any other AV find it to be malware, you can send it to Alwil mail i provided above.
But it can be a perfectly new variant.
