For the past few days, I've been getting these popups from Avast (pay version which includes firewall) that wants to allow programs to browse the web. These programs are in the Avast directory, but it just doesn't seem right. Today's issue: Program: 1aa08f68-9e20-43f8-b4ac-549b8e20b443.exe is trying to connect to remote address mia23.ff.avast.com http
The program is in the Avast directory (Program Files\Avast\Software\Avast Setup\1aa08f68-9e20-43f8-b4ac-549b8e20b443.exe). What the hell is that? Like I said this isn't the first time and all these "issues" (3 to day in 2 weeks) have all been Firewall Questions similar to the above program issue.
Avast automatically updates itself, so I have questions about why Avast would ask me permission to allow Avast access to itself on the net. More detail should be provided if this is a valid "run."
