What is the functionality of "export to plist" for a warning? And how to deal with warnings in general? Can they/should they be deleted? Can this be done throgh Avast? Thank you

Warnings are relevant only in that a malware object has been detected and blocked from running or execution.  Up to you to choose what to do with the detected file, but quarantining is the safest way to go in most cases.
