Yes when I first went to premier from free I paid with Paypal but when I could not get firewall i got support who  gave me a link to uninstall avast by safe mode When I did this my laptop froze and I had to take it to a shop costing me £30 to get my system working. When I complained to the supporter he gave me a refund ( i didn't ask for one)and a telephone number in England to call. When I called after adverts, and being put on hold (about 35 mins) my money ran out on my mobile. then the supporter did not answer anymore of my emails.. So I in installed avast again this time on 30 day trial. Thats what I'm on now with a box that keeps popping up asking me to pay now. There's no way I am going to pay untill I can see the firewall is on.When I t's fixed I will pay no problem.

OK the trial may well have expired hence the firewall not working

Do a full clean install of Premier and then insert the licence file

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

  • Run the uninstall tool and accept the reboot to safe mode
  • Once complete reboot your system
  • Reinstall Avast

The trial did not expire,I had 14 days left.
The licence I was given was on my desktop but after several attempts would not come up.
I did everything you asked. After uninstalling, and reboot  my internet reception went and would not come back untill this morning.
Today I again tried to install but my licence number has disapeared from my desktop.
So now I am back on 30 day trial with no firewall.
In other words no change
I will keep looking for your reply today.
And if you would like to help me with remote assistance again I would be happy.
