Windows security center turned off + shutdown
« on: May 19, 2014, 04:53:05 AM »
Hello;

I think my PC is infected. For some reason (probably due to something I installed or what) Window Security Center suddenly turned off, as well as my Avast Shields going off. Just as I was about to remedy the situation by turning the shields back on, my computer rebooted. After the reboot, I noticed that a background update of Adobe Air was happening so I decided to kill the process immediately before it could happen, and reboot in safe mode and do a scan using Malwarebytes; which detected nothing. I also ran roguekiller and deleted two entries.  Avast does not detect anything as well.

Here are the logs that could help discern problems;

Malwarebytes should only be run in safe mode if there is a problem running it.....

Oh, I'm sorry about that.

If it helps, the logs I attached were from a second scan I did after scanning with online ESET, which also found nothing. Am I missing something, or was it just a lapse in my comp?

. . . worse, am I being paranoid? .__. but something like that isn't really something I usually encounter, and it felt like a very fast attack.
