Virus[susp] automatically added to the quarantine.
« on: June 19, 2014, 03:19:02 AM »
Hello there,

Here's my problem: until last week, there was only one virus in my quarantine. it went there after being detected last november.
(and at the end of the scan, Avast noticed me about the virus and it being added to the quarantine...)

and today, I went to the quarantine just to see and 2 more viruses were in it!!!
the 2 files transferred last week: on the 14th & 15th.

same type of viruses: Win64:Evo-gen[susp]
30d7a.msi from C:/windows/instal~1
smartfacevwatcher.exe from C:/programfiles/toshiba/smartfacev

What I find weird  is that Avast never noticed me about those ones.
I usually do a scan every 2/3 days and the report has always been the same for months: no virus detected!

so I'm quite surprised to say the least.

what's also strange is that the transfert date of the 2 viruses to the quarantine doesn't match the historic of my scans.

should I be worried about what's going on my computer?
or is it how Avast 2014 is supposed to work?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!!!

Kind regards,
Alain
