hai i want to know that if i do a boot scan with avast free latest version will it change or delete or damage my windows registry file? what should i do if i do a boot scan and i find a virus or a corrupt windows registry file do i need to repair that or send it to the virus chest if i send it to the virus chest and then i remove that from the virus chest will it make any problem to function my windows or corrept my windows?  any advice please

i am using windows 8 32 bit avast free latest version.

Boot scan is meant to be used if there is a problem removing a infection, or if the program tell you to run it after a detection.....it is not meant to be used as a regular scanner
