How do I get my old account back?

I registered on this forum a few years back and had a login that was my Username. Now I have to login using an email address and I can no longer access the account I was previously using. How do I go about getting this straightened out?

Login with the email address you previously used to register your original account.

Slight amendment to the wording of this, the forum user name became the email address for your my.avast.com account (not forum account).
