FBI Ransomware
« on: July 07, 2014, 11:39:57 PM »
Hello, I would really like some help with my problem. I have accidentally infected my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with the FBI Ransomware virus. It came in the form of a fake Adobe Flash Player download. Me being the idiot that I am tapped on it and wham, my phones locked. I have downloaded Avast on it remotely and activated Safe Mode in order to access my files but Avast won't run in Safe Mode...Please help because I have ran out of options. I have searched all over the internet and I just cant seem to find a way to fix it.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

This is not a solution.  I am having the same problem.  The app is installed on my android it just will not run. There is no shortcut created and after it is installed and in the notification drop down I click on it and get sent to google play store where it says avast is already downloaded and installed.  Please Help.  I am in safe mode FBI Ransomware.
