Nothing amiss there and I am unable to find any data about a redirect that only uses FF and can survive an uninstall.  The registry key I was looking at was a delta clock programme which synchronises when an event takes place, but generally that is only used for computer research

When you uninstalled FF did you delete all traces including any online backups

After uninstalling Firefox, I've deleted the mozilla folder, did a reboot and installed new. I imported my bookmarks, tha'ts it.
But same bookmarks I'm using @ chrome and IE, so I guess, that isn't the reason for avast's warning.Ok, I guess I uninstall FF again, then doing a clean install without any extension installed, 1st without using my old bookmarks. I will tell here, if my problem isnt fixed then.

Hmmm... first I had no problem, no warning from avast, but it restarted after I importet my bookmarks.... I wll do a new clean install, and try to surf a while without importing bookmarks...
Still strange, cause I had no extensions or addons installed, only imported my bookmarks, I use same bookmarks @ chrome and IE, no warnings there....

In that case one of the bookmarks is corrupted.  I.e. had a small extension added to it, so in addition to going to the site it also triggers the alert by trying to go to a second site
Firefox bookmarks are store separately from the other browsers.  Try importing bookmarks from IE or Chrome instead of using the backup
