DeepScreen conflict with SMPlayer
« on: July 24, 2014, 01:20:09 PM »
We are a company selling educational video discs, and some of them bundled with a modified SMPlayer for playing protected video. A customer told us she can not play the disc and the system crashed. We remotely test and found that when the player was loading, the DeepScreen message appeared, then the connection is lost(crashed). So we modified the setting of Avast and add the DVD drive letter to the exclusion list, then the customer can play without problem.

What we want to know is that why a sandbox technology like DeepScreen will crash the entire OS? :-\
