trz.tmp files in my AppData Roaming.

A few months back I removed a nasty rootkit, but some of it's traces are still in my computer. Avast does not say that the trz.tmp files are viruses, but I've looked up a bit about them. Since I've removed the rootkit would it be safe to remove them manually? I'm sorry for a low amount of information. If you need anymore I could provide some.
