This always happens sooner or later.
Out of the blue avast start saying that one of my compiled scripts is a suspicious program and it moves it to the quarantine.

There is nothing suspicious about the code.
When I compiled it and compress it with upx, avast says that the program is suspicious.Ok most malware are upx compressed but once I compile the script without compressing it,it again says that the script is a suspicious program.

I have to add every single script I compile to the exclude list to allow them to work.
What the script is doing is scanning a folder to display the extensions in that folder and once I choose an extension,it will search the files for a text I'm searching for.

PS.I already created a thread about this but I couldn't figure out how to display all of my threads without placing something in the search field(I can see all of my post but not all of my threads easily)

If you have false positives, submit them to the Avast lab (e.g., by right-click in the Chest).  Avast is quite good about adjusting their protection quickly to avoid false positives.

Yesterday I found one more too.
I use those compiled scripts constantly(I have around 10)and avast at random start to suspect them.

If I scan the file, avast will not say anything about it but if I try to run it,then it says that the program is suspicious and move it to the chest.

It's like I have to submit every script I compile.
Is it possible to send some kind of data without sending the script?

Btw little off topic but why avast when avast ask me what I want to do with the file, there is no option for "Do nothing" in the list of possible things to do with the file.
You can set it from the options but I prefer to have that ability from the drop down menu.

W32:Evo-Gen [susp] = Suspicious is a on access detection only and will not show in any scan

It's been discussed many times.

Basically it boils down to the product believing it's smarter than the human running the computer.

Given the computing prowess and arrogance of the general public it may well be that the majority of folks when given the power of override would just shoot themselves in the foot again and again, loading in all the malware in the world by pressing "ignore" in the heat of the moment.  After all, what could be more important than loading that game or watching that porn...
