Exact Sequence of "UI Pops Open After Scan" Bug

Avast Engineers:

I happened to be watching at just the moment this morning's scheduled scan of my C: drive completed, and I screen-grabbed the transitions.

These are large screen grab files that show my entire desktop including a clock and the Avast pop-ups that showed.

I schedule a full, thorough C: drive scan at 6am every day.

At 7:54:09 - My "C Drive Scan" was nearing completion, at 99% progress:

When the scan completes, the small status pop-up at the lower-right of my center monitor shows the status.

I have the pop-ups set to stay on the screen for 30 seconds, since I almost never see one and I don't like to miss events (yes, I know you can show the last pop-up).  However, the small pop-up remained on screen for a full 3 minutes.

At 7:58:06 - The main Avast UI opened and the small pop-up remained on screen:

The small pop-up in the lower-right corner of my central monitor then disappeared a few seconds later, sliding down off the screen, and leaving the main UI open.

This problem was reported a few releases ago, and confirmed by several users when 10.0.2206 and 2208 were released as well.

Back in version 9 Avast technical support said it was a bug and would be fixed in the next release, but it hasn't been fixed and no comment from Avast on any topics about if it will be fixed or is now considered normal.
