SMS command not working for Moto G XT1039

Hi all,

I bought my mum a Moto G XT1039 (running kitkat 4.4.4), and installed Avast anti theft & security on it. But no matter what I try, normal SMS or inner app SMS option, none of the commands would work on her phone.

Tried uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing. Never encountered such problem before, any idea why?

The only thing the previous seller did to the phone was unlocking the bootloader, does it have anything to do with the SMS command not working?

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with the avast mobile security (AMS) product - that will require one of the AMS team of a volunteer more familiar to help.

In the meantime you could try a forum search in the Avast Mobile Security sub-forum https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=37.0 or this Anti-Theft (Theft Aware) sub-forum for SMS Command and see if this hasn't cropped up before.

Moto G XT1034 here. SMS control also doesn't work in binary and plain text modes.
