Enable HTTPS scanning in conflict with IE and Chrome
« on: December 09, 2014, 09:16:57 AM »
Hi, when I enable http scanning, browser like Chrome or IE are saying the certificate is invalid. Chrome says "Your connection is not private". This happen when I visit website like google.com or facebook.com. both use https://. I can't access both.

When I disable the https scanning, everything is back to normal... I can accesss to google and facebook.

So is it recommended to keep it disable?

Thanks about your OS, I asked because https scanning does not work with XP or Vista.
Have you tried a repair?
Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click "avast">click "repair">reboot (sometimes more than one reboot may be needed).

If that fails you may need to disable https scanning. You are not the first user with this issue.

I don't have the Chrome browser, nor do I use Google but I have no problem accessing Facebook with the https scanning enabled on IE.
