The component of active protection Secure DNS brought today unpleasant chores.
After the upgrade I lost access to corporate resources. During the investigation it became clear, that the module Secure DNS intercepts DNS-queries, finds answers of corporate DNS as wrong, and tries to resolve corporate addresses, using records from public DNS!!! As the result, at best, returns an Internet address if corporative resource has a public address, and in most cases does not return anything. Why?
The module Secure DNS are disabled now.
After using Avast 5 years, PRO... this incident annoyed me and not sure that want renew subscription!
