WSUS installed all just fine this month.  Installed recommended .NET Framework 4.5.2 after security updates reboot so if there were issues with .NET, then that would be much easier to peg down.

No issues this month.   8)

I had a few updates pending. My PC did crash a couple of times when running them, probably caused by me being impatient and continuing to work on the machine at the same time. Note to self: don't.   ::)

"Note To You".........DO NOT. :)
Seriously, I hit update, cross my fingers, but truly "walk away".......watching the downloading & install will drive anyone crazy.
Best to leave alone, let finish, reboot (even if it does not require), upon login let PC settle for 5 minutes.....Windows cleaning up logs, etc.

Same here.  There were no Windows optional updates to be wary about this week it seems.

That time again..........anyone done the Windows updates ?
Post results, O/S version & Avast version.
Note: As a precaution I turn off Avast's SDM (Self Defense Module) in Settings>Troubleshooting while I do the Windows updates.
No one has ever told me this is needed but in past versions of Avast the SDM had issues with System Restore and thus I read into that "things" changing "things" within the deep kernel-O/S may conflict with Avast itself.  I'm not recommending this for others but wanted to post.....I turn it back on right after reboot and successful Windows updates.

KB3001652 Update Pulled Due to Issues on Windows 8.1 and Windows 7

  http://news.softpedia.com/news/KB3001652-Update-Pulled-Due-to-Issues-on-Windows-8-1-and-Windows-7-472797.shtml

I didn't install KB3021917 because Microsoft description of this update is vague :

"This update performs diagnostics in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) in order to determine whether performance issues may be encountered when the latest Windows operating system is installed. Telemetry is sent back to Microsoft for those computers that participate in the Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP). This update will help Microsoft and its partners deliver better system performance for customers who are seeking to install the latest Windows operating system."
