Is anyone else have difficulty with today's Win 10 cumulative update (KB3200970)? The first attempt failed, it started re-downloading after I clicked 'retry' but has been stuck at 85% downloaded for 2 hours.
You might want to give the following a try. :)

Thanks, Bob. I'm going to hang off fiddling with anything until I know it's not a server issue at the MS end (that's why I was curious as to whether anyone else is having difficulty). The only thing I have done is switch on the p2p element of Windows Update and restarted the machine ... I'll see if that makes any difference.

I see, but you can proof before the install! There you can see the 'kb' numbers.

Apparently, her problem is in the download. Once it's finished, so is her problem.

Thank you =Snake=.

To Proof (verify or proofread), open Action Center (Win 10 Action Center is in far right corner of task bar).

Next:
  • Click All Settings
  • Click Update and Security
  • Click Windows Update>Check for Updates
A list will appear showing downloaded and pending KB security updates.

Copy the KB numbers down and post back.  Once we have the full KB numbers we may be able to provide a workaround for you.

I have one, too. --> https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=192818.0
You could try installing each kb on it's own and see if that makes a difference.

First of all: thanks for visiting my theme. After having installed KB947821 (twice, see screenshot), nothing really changed.

No the windows security update as was this one, I manually installed on my wife's laptop with 8.1. the day before yesterday
having resident free-Avast av and the manual download and 2-phase install went succesfully in  just under 20 minutes.

No problems thereafter either.
