No problems here with my Win 7 Pro updates Tuesday.  I simply selected all available updates, and allowed machines to reboot after installation.
AMD A6-5350M APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 8.0GB RAM, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE11
i7-3610QM 2.3GHZ, 8.0GB Ram,  Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE 11
Common to both: Avast Premium Security 19.7.2388, WinPatrol Plus, SpywareBlaster 5.5, Opera 12.18, Firefox 68.0.2, MBam Free, CCleaner

I'm a little late to the game this month.........been traveling......6 home PCs (DELL & HP) all W7 Home Premium and between 26 & 29 updates.....all went well with Avast & MBAM active during updates.

Just a note, the Windows update did a second reboot during their updates.

Those of you who have win 8.1 - do you have the update KB 2267602 installed?

This update failed for me repeatedly until I un-installed avast - disabling it did not help.

Just got back from traveling and I had seen two W7 updates....one Skype (KB2876229) optional and one Important (KB2952664).  When I got home the important KB2952664 is now optional.  I did a quick Google and got conflicting about this KB working, etc. ....even lockups: http://www.ophtek.com/windows-7-update-causing-lock-ups-kb2952664/
Some say to hide and not install.
Anyone else try ?

I have it listed as Optional and have not tried installation. Thanks for the heads-up! Look forward to reading other comments.

So I see KB3035583 has moved back from optional to recommended.  :o
All Googling shows this is for upgrade to W10.....which I'll never do on these PCs.
I see there is also an optional Skype KB.....which I will hide.
Anyway, I went ahead (today 4/3/2015) and installed on five W7 64bit machine with Avast 9 last release and one PC with latest Avast 10....all went fine.

Uh.... I installed KB2952664 on the 25/03/2015 and it was an RECOMMENDED update. It then got successfully installed and after that I didn't see any issues or problems and not even my windows 7 causing lock ups. Probably this was causing issues to minors and microsoft found out about it and then got it fixed.

As you can see above I installed that update more than a week ago, no problem :)

If anyone has concerns over windows updates then do a system image first.

@-midnight - you have an outdated driver for your audio.  Go to the manufacturer and find the latest for your audio chip

For all DO NOT run the built in "disk cleanup" tool.  Many problems, removes older updates that are superseded by a newer update but are still dependent to each other.  I found 23 updates that were removed when they should not have been removed.

KB2952664 is if you want to upgrade to Win8, but no details on what it exactly does in this process.  You will also be offered this same update as time goes on so it is not a problem.

You cant get that Realtek update through any provider only windows update 6.0.1.7404 is the version number, Realtek's latest version is 6.0.1.7208 from last may 2014, I also received the Realtek update this evening and though it took along time to install it when through fine.

There is also no problem with the built in Disc Clean up tool, sounds more like your system is the problem.

I installed this update on my Window's 8.1 computer.  The only problem I had after rebooting was a red x in Avast task bar so I clicked on fix now so everything is okay now.
