I have several PCs at home, and two of them have either BSOD or just freeze (the Windows 8 machines works it's way out of BSOD and restarts, the Windows 7 machine just freezes completely).  My other two PCs run just fine.

THe only difference: the two that are BSODing are running Avast 2015...they've updated.  I won't update the others until I know this is resolved.

This is on Windows 8 and 7 64 bit both, both completely up to date.
Avast version 2015, 2015.10.0.2208 on both.

I have three computers that are running Windows 7 -32-bit Premium version. I am running Avast free version. When I upgraded to Avast 2015 the systems would not boot properly. I now have a forth computer that is doing this when updating to Avast 2015. The solution has been to boot with the F8 key and select "Last Known Good" and then not update to the 2015 version of Avast.

Has anyone found a work around for this problem?

Thanks,
Mark
