Why does my website trigger Avast!?
« on: December 21, 2014, 10:55:26 PM »
Hey,

So I have tried in a Windows VM and my friend has tried with a mac, I believe. He sent me this image about my website:

Any idea why I'm getting that? Also, I linked him to u.mixomuse.net

Not related to block but outdated software    http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/u.mixomuse.net

Seems another blacklisted Domain(s) is on same IP    https://www.virustotal.com/en/ip-address/162.243.48.184/information/

I updated my VPS earlier today hoping the error would go away but it didn't. Also I created this droplet 5 months ago, July 25 8PM -- at least that's what it says on my control panel. Why is geesevolcano.eu resolving to my VPS?

Er it seems like my IP is being flagged for malware because geesevolcano.eu had malware, according to the link you sent me. But my website is malware free. Is there anyway to remove my IP from being flagged?

Website resolution issues here http://dnscheck.pingdom.com/?domain=u.mixomuse.net&timestamp=1419203512&view=1
And here http://www.dnsinspect.com/u.mixomuse.net/1419203524
Lots of errors here http://push2check.net/u.mixomuse.net

Updating your vps definitions is not going to do it. You need to update your Apache software.
Outdated software is easy to compromise due to lack of security fixes.

Always run the most up to date software!

Oh... The problem is that debian stable doesn't have the latest apache2.
