What are the incentives for continuing to recommend?
« on: December 29, 2014, 05:49:39 PM »
Hi

I currently have "259+ Friends", whatever that means. I know that relates to recommendations but what's with the + sign? Why isn't it accurate?

And while I see that I'm now a Bronze Elite with 4101 points, what use is that to me? Where's the incentive to continue to share and promote? So far, for recommending Avast to over 250 people I have received one licence for Internet Security. The new rewards pages look pretty but I'm not that interested in gaining virtual badges, I'd like to see some REAL rewards for all the recommendations.

As explained in other threads already, the karma points part is still in BETA.

I know this topic is old, but after searching  I still don't know the point of 'rewards'. Clicking on the website or the program doesn't tell me what the rewards do now or plan to do. All I know is I have these points which mean SFA.

At least a planned proposal would be nice.

cheers

The karma points are old also and still nothing is done with them.
When it will come out of beta and what the rewards will be is still unknown.
