ICQ or SMTP alert
« on: November 03, 2003, 12:20:31 PM »
Hello,

how have I to configure avast for the ICQ alert? If I add my ICQ Name in the settings/alerts/ICQ and test it, than I ged the message "The alert can not be send".

In the help file I can read that I have to "Enter the UIN of the ICQ client". Is there a difference between the UIN and the ICQ Name?

Thanks a lot and best regards.

Dirk

To use ICQ you must enter your ICQ number (it is shown on caption of ICQ), called UIN. So it is quite big difference...  ;)

Hello,

now I found my number (294554xxx) and tried it. But the answer of the test is the same. Now I have disabled my personal firewall (Kerio 2.15)  to see if it blocks the message, but the negative result is the same.

Any more ideas?

Thanks a lot and regards
