Synchronising/accessing Outlook problems

Hi,

I installed the Avast! Home edition and now I cannot syncronise my Symbian Phone (Motorola A1000) any more. The Synchronisation utility reports "Outlook, failed to open Outlook" when trying to open the calendar and contacts databases (the two that I synchronise).

I tried stopping Avast! and uninstalling it, but I am still unable to gain access to Outlook databases.

Normally, I would get a pop up requester from Outlook warning me that an outside application wants access and if I want to allow access and for how long.

I would really appreciate prompt help with this!

Problem solved.

I uninstalled MS Office and reinstalled it.

Also, I am now running Avast! and am not experiencing the synchronisation failures. I think tha initial damage may have been done by the beta Skype Outlook toolbar.
