Kazaa Vs P2P provider
« on: October 24, 2005, 01:06:10 AM »
Hello guys,

I am using win98 se, kazaa lite K++ version 2.4.3 build 1. And avast 4.6.691 with the last virus definitions... 21/10/2005

I already tried to repair the instalation... And didnt made any good.

The problem is that even with the p2p provider running, all the files that I download with Kazaa arent scanned... Its only scanned when they arrive in the hd...By the standard shield...

What am I doing wrong?

I already searched in the forum, and I found one person with the same problem that I and the same version of Kazaa... But it didnt worked for me...

Thanks for your time,

Elminster

Have you selected 'Kazaa lite K++' inside the P2P provider or even if that is one of the p2p programs that can be used with avast?

Hello,

Theres 2 checked options: Kazaa and Kazaa Lite....

Mine is Kazza Lite K++... Hmmm.. Maybe it is not the same Kazaa lite and Kazaa lite K++?

Thanks for your time,

I don't use the p2p provider so I can't say for sure if your version would be different from the other two.
If you do a check download and watch the P2P Shield's Scanned Count and see if it changes, or the avast icon rotates during the download.
If not you could try one of the others on the list.

Hello,

Both are checked...

The counter remains zero...
