SecurLine quit working when Avast anti-virus finished its year

I didn't renew Avast Anti-Virus because my I.Provider offered a free one.Avast had run out after one year..I also have SecureLine which has quit working.It is
contracted to run till August 5th..The message on the SecureLine window Says " it has technical difficulties..any ideas would be appreciated.I was happy
with both services and had no problems with same..
