"Threat detected" notifications when PC wakes
« on: July 02, 2015, 05:13:07 AM »
Hello, i am a new user of Avast! free antivirus. i am running a windows 8.1 pc that was freshly installed about a month ago and i recently started getting "THREAT DETECTED" notifications in the login screen whenever i wake my computer from Sleep. when i first got them, it was a spam of about 12 notifications and when i logged in and checked the details in the popup, it says   " INFECTION BLOCKED " and provides a URL,  Infection ( URL:Mal ) and the process.
i have since done a full PC scan with Advanced systemcare pro 8. my pc is healthy but i still keep getting the notifications , usually about 2 at a time.
any help would be Great!
thanks in advance!
