avast doesn't look if you visit erotic sites or not.
What do you mean by "notifying" ?
How and what data avast is collecting has been explained multiple times already.
You can look for the posts about it on this webboard and read it on the avast website.
You can only disable pop-ups in the paid versions, not in avast free.
As they say "You get what you paid for".
The interface needs to be changed now and then.
New things are added, old things are removed, some things are not separate anymore etc.
Do you mind showing me some of these privacy posts ?
I appreciate that you you need to run pops to accommodate the free version but it has gone from upgrade notifications, to monitoring the user's site usage specifically notifying on almost each adult site visit. Plus constant pop-up bombarding on non-vendor issues like Android. I certainly don't need an automated, enforced security industry news resident process notifier on my Windows machine.
How big is the site access data log and where it is being stored ?
Of course you are free to do whatever you want, but diligent users like myself will raise our concerns, will see how we are treated, and will look to move to other vendors if we feel the time has come.
For the sake of the free service that Avast provided in the few years it will be remembered and given as an example. But some users like myself may now be starting to consider alternatives as it is gotten a bit over the top with these pop ups.
There are several competitive companies that are looking to spread any mistreatment on avast's part on its customers. And that is why I can demand as a customer to be answered to your best ability. You are there because of me.
I again I wish not to anger anyone and appreciate the feedback, this is just customer research which will become part of a consumer report to be spread via our networks. You will be able to locate it on our official page for sure at facebook.com/facefixxi.
