Protection against blocks of screen

Hello. As far as I know, lab tests showed that Avast is no reliable protection against the blockers of the screen. http://www.av-comparatives.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/avc_rem_201411_en.pdf How are things now? When Avast is a defense against blockers screen?
