there is a Virus in my system
« on: July 30, 2015, 01:34:12 PM »
I have to several times click the mouse button, not once like it used to be.
It also sends me to a different site that I did not click in my Favourates.
This morning the java disappeared from my mail.
The seamonkey browser crashed this morning

Please help. I hope this can be corrected!

Thank you for your help!

it is probably part of the symptom I am complaining about;

it did not at first - I checked here- there was nothing-
and then doubled up

I can see no apparent malware but I will tidy up to be sure

CAUTION :  This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Quote
CreateRestorePoint:
Toolbar: HKLM - No Name - {318A227B-5E9F-45bd-8999-7F8F10CA4CF5} -  No File
Toolbar: HKLM - No Name - {CC1A175A-E45B-41ED-A30C-C9B1D7A0C02F} -  No File
FF Plugin: @videolan.org/vlc,version=2.1.2 -> C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\npvlc.dll No File
FF Plugin: @videolan.org/vlc,version=2.1.3 -> C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\npvlc.dll No File
RemoveProxy:
EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Scan.
  • After the scan is complete click on "Clean"
  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S0].txt as well.

Not sure about the re-directions. Because prior to contacting you I switched to a blank page in SeaMonkey.

I got my mail in Explorer and it was this blankness of no Java and there I switched to Seamonkey for mail
and later returned to Explorer.

Now I still have to click with the mouse 4-5 times on my Favourates in each of the browsers before it does not shut down on me
and I can not go and I can go on the page I want to go.

The feeling is that nothing changed; again that's a feeling-we need some other test!
