I spent about two hours trying to figure out why my wireless adapter would not work after it had an update. I had to uninstall Avast to redo the install for the adapter and then had to reinstall Avast. This was very frustrating but I got it figured out.
I had an update a few months back and did not have this problem. I have a Netgear WNDA3100v2
