Windows 10 problem-suggestion to uninstall Avast
« on: August 10, 2015, 05:58:54 PM »
I installed Windows 10 and have some problems. My start menu will not work at all. I posted in the Windows 10 forum and received various things to try which did not work.

I saw a post where someone said that after they uninstalled their Avast program, the start button and other task buttons would work. It seems odd to me that I would have to uninstall this program in order for Windows 10 to have a start button that worked. Does anyone here know if that is true? I have tried restarting my computer, but that did not fix the problem. I was also told to pull up my task manager and click on a few items, but that is not working either.

I am not sure what you mean by "server product". I have Windows 10 on my HP computer. Everything was fine when I had Windows 7. I downloaded Windows 10 this morning and now there are a few issues.
