Avast is now gradually became more and more like an adware and bloatware. the popups increased rapidly, the bloat increased, yes we know "it is free, asswipe" but with this attitude and with competition we can just move on to another AV. I turned off several of the tools like software updater and browser cleaner. but somehow after upgrading avast, software updater activated itself even though it is still off from setting. I thought maybe that's the first time. then after a restart, same thing, browser cleaner analyzing my plugins.
