Screen-Saver scan
« on: November 21, 2005, 10:54:33 AM »
I have just installed the home version and have noticed that the screen saver scan always starts at the same point every time, and if it finds a suspected virus it stops scanning.  Is there anyway for it to remember where it got up to last time and continue on (as i have a lot of files and a full scan can take several hours) and also a way to make it continue looking for more after it finds a suspected virus rather than stopping?  In the week since i have had it installed the screen saver scan does not appear to have covered the whole drive yet.

Cheers, Dave.

No,it can't because the next time the screen saver start you may be infected again and the infection will not be detected. And why don't you run a system scan and delete all the viruses.Screen saver scan is just to see if you'are infected not to scan the whole system.
