The number of sucessful activations has reached the limit.
« on: August 21, 2015, 12:40:40 AM »
Hi,

I have the Pro version and yes, I have probably installed it a lot [new versions of Windows etc].

How do I resolve this?

Thank you

If you are manually using the activation code that does have a limited number of activations.

If you use the avast license file that should have come as an attachment or download link with your receipt/order info, that doesn't have that restriction.

If you haven't saved a copy of that license file - try the Resend avast License http://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php, you will need to enter the email that you used when purchasing the license, e.g. the one that the original email with the link was sent.

You likely received an email from Avast with an activation key, where you can click to 'Activate' the license.  I did also but for AIS.

Follow the link provided by DavidR, follow it's instructions and you should receive an email with an attachment in it.  Save that attachment "License.avastlic to your hard drive in a safe place.
