Avast popups

 >:( Ok Guys, you've just about convinced me NOT to take advantage of your 52% off deal for Avast Pro renewal because 1) I have Avast Pro and it's not blocking the Avast pop-up ads and 2) this pop up is occurring every 15 minutes or so.  You are in the BUSINESS of BLOCKING this sort of thing, not causing it!!!

If you already have a paid version, Why don't you change your settings and block these ads ???
Settings > Popups > Uncheck Show Popups

The ability to block the Popups is only available if you use a Paid Version. :)

It's way too big and way too frequent, it's just having a negative effect on how I view Avast ads, which normally tend to be unobtrusive.  The other one I remember being this bad was the one of two people sitting at a desk, just a huge picture ad.

Doesn't it strike anyone else how intensely hypocritical it is that Avast's own popups are among the most egregious there are?  I mean really, every time the computer wakes up and periodically thereafter?  Yes, there may be an obscure setting that stops these but it seems to me I shouldn't have to search this out in the first place since I've paid for the software!  I mean the very reason this company is in business is because they recognize how annoying they are and yet they themselves inflict them on their own customers.

Enough said.

I would hardly call turning off popups by unchecking show popups obscure.
I agree with you that if you have the paid product, the default should have this unchecked.
