An Option
« on: November 26, 2005, 09:00:21 AM »
is there any option in avast! which does not allow the software to be disabled or change the settings in restricted account or another account? (Win XP)

only the computer administrator should be given the rights to change the settings. i feel it will be really useful for many people.

coz norton provides this option. u cant disable it or change the settings in restricted account.

Hi and welcome,
you do have the option of password protection  from the admin account, this should cover what you seem to want.
good luck  :)

arunjeevi, right click the 'a' blue ball in the system tray and click 'Set/Change Password'...

Well, I guess this is nice idea, but you should post it in this thread:

That's where we all post some nice ideas and if they sound like causy and useful, Alwil will consider them as possible change for next major avast! release.
